Hey there, Tag fan! We’re excited to introduce you to our new game, designed for up to four players on the same device. Don’t worry if you don’t have friends to play with - you can always add some friendly AI opponents to join the fun!
To get started, you can choose from four different move and jump key layouts:
- Player 1: WASD
- Player 2: TFGH
- Player 3: IJKL
- Player 4: Arrow Keys
Now, let’s talk about the different Tag variations! We have four fun modes to choose from, each with its own twist:
Points Tag
In this strategic mode, one player takes on the role of IT, while the others earn points over time. The first player to reach the target number of points wins!
Knockout Tag
In this fast-paced mode, each player starts with the same number of points. When you’re IT, you lose points, and if you hit zero, you’re out of the game! The last player standing wins.
Reverse Tag
In this unique mode, everyone is IT, except for one player. While not IT, you lose points, but don’t worry - losing points is actually a good thing! The player who reaches zero points first wins.
Zombie Tag
Get ready for a multi-round Tag battle! One player starts as IT, and whenever they tag someone, that player becomes IT too. Earn points for tagging others while IT, and avoid being tagged to win. If there’s a tie, we’ll go into sudden death mode.
Want to customize your game even further? Just press the ‘options’ button on the game selection screen next to ‘start game’.
Choose from a cast of mythical creatures, each with their own special powers:
- Alien - Who knows where they’re from? Maybe they’re just lost in space…
- Kraken - This ocean-dwelling giant is keeping their home a secret, but they’re ready to play!
- Squatch - This friendly giant is all about having fun and playing nice with others.
- Dragon - This retired dragon knight just wants to play games with friends and have a good time.
- Pixie - This sleepy pixie only comes out to play when it’s time for a rousing game of Tag!
- Unicorn - This magical unicorn loves to gallop between dimensions, leaving sparkly trails behind.
Now, here are some tips to help you become a Tag master:
Keep your high ground
Make sure to stay on the higher platforms to stay safe and have an advantage.
Move in midair
Use your midair adjustments to dodge and chase your opponents with ease.
Use the jumping tokens
Collect those special tokens to get a temporary boost and leave the competition behind!
