Hey there! Are you ready to fall in love with Bloxorz? This super popular game on Coolmath Games is all about navigating a block through 33 levels to reach the end goal - getting it to fall into the square hole!
To get started, just remember a few simple rules. You can move your block using the left, right, up, and down arrow keys. Be careful not to fall off the edges, though - if you do, you’ll have to start over! Don’t worry, it’s easy to get the hang of it.
As you play, you’ll encounter bridges and switches. The switches are pretty cool - when you press them down with your block, they’ll do different things! There are two types: soft octagon switches and heavy x-shaped switches. Soft switches are activated when any part of your block touches them, while heavy switches require a bit more pressure. Your block needs to be standing on its end to activate those heavy switches!
When you use a switch, you might notice that some bridges start opening and closing, while others create a permanent connection. The green or red squares will flash to let you know which bridges are being operated. Easy peasy!
Now, about those orange tiles… they’re a bit fragile, so if your block stands up vertically on one, it will give way and you’ll have to start over. No worries, though!
Oh, and there’s one more type of switch - the () teleporter! This one splits your block into two smaller blocks, which you can control separately. When you place both small blocks next to each other, they’ll merge back into a single block. You can switch between small blocks by pressing the spacebar. Just keep in mind that small blocks can’t activate heavy switches or fit through the exit hole - only a complete block can finish the stage.
Don’t forget to jot down the passcode for each stage - it’s in the top right corner! You can skip back to any stage later by going to “Load Stage” in the main menu and entering the 6-digit level code.
